Dr. Abdul Baqi Amin, director general, Center for Strategic and Regional Studies (CSRS) and his delegation that had attended a two-day conference in Islamabad met Afghan Ambassador to Islamabad, Janan Mosazai.
The meeting took place on September 17th in which Dr. Abdul Baqi Amin, general director, CSRS, provided the Afghan Ambassador with information and main points regarding the two-day conference titled “Pakistan and Afghanistan: Towards an Ideal Bilateral Arrangement,” jointly organized by Centre for Strategic and Regional Studies (CSRS), Kabul and Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Islamabad on 16-17 September.
Dr. Abdul Baqi Amin said, the Center for Strategic and Regional Studies (CSRS) conducts researches on important national issues in the country. An important issue of discussion in the Islamabad Conference was about Afghanistan’s Peace Deadlock and searching solutions for it and the main reason behind the failure of the peace process is the lack of a third party which would be accepted to the entire sides involved in the war of Afghanistan, therefore, the CSRS is struggling in order to create the ideal third party, Dr. Abdul Baqi Amin added.
Afghan Ambassador, Janan Mosazai appreciated the efforts of CSRS and promised of cooperation with CSRS.
