CSRS\u2019s mission is to better inform and influence policy and practice by conducting high-quality, evidence-based research about Afghanistan and its region, and to nurture a culture of research.<\/p>\n

CSRS achieves its mission through active engagement with policymakers, civil society actors, researchers, and academics, strengthening research capacity and creating platforms for constructive analysis and debate.<\/p>\n

CSRS is registered as a non-profit research organization at the Ministry of Economy in Kabul under registration number 341, dated 17.6.1388.<\/p>\n

CSRS aims to contribute to fact-based and thoughtful analysis and debate about Afghanistan among analysts, academics and the general public in Afghanistan and globally.<\/p>\n
